This Works has revealed its Red Light Range, marking its debut into the electrical beauty category.
Designed to work together in synergy, the collection consists of the Red Light Body Wrap Device and Power Serum; the duo is formulated to help support the body’s natural cellular repair process for visible improvements in skin and hair.
The wearable technology can be incorporated into a daily routine and it combines red and near-infrared light therapy with targeted actives, including Coenzyme Q10, through advanced topical skincare.
The Red Light Body Wrap Device utilises specific wavelengths of light, which are absorbed by cells to help support natural cellular energy production. The process also helps to support visual improvements in skin tone, texture and firmness, and the appearance of healthier-looking, fuller hair with consistent use.
A clinical study highlighted that 81% saw improved skin appearance, 77% said skin felt smoother and 69% agreed their skin looked firmer with use of the Red Light Body Wrap Device over a 12-week period.
Designed to be used 3-5 times per week on clean, dry skin or the scalp, the device can also be paired with the Red Light Power Serum.
The targeted treatment is formulated to help support the skin at a cellular level while enhancing the skin’s response to red light therapy. It can be applied daily on the face, scalp and body alone or before red light therapy.
The formula contains Coenzyme Q10, a molecule essential for cellular energy production. The blend also contains hyaluronic acid for hydration, ectoin to help protect the skin barrier, caffeine and vitamin E for antioxidant defence.
The formula is clinically proven to improve skin elasticity, firmness and radiance over a 28-day period. A clinical study also highlighted that 100% said their skin felt smoother, with 86% agreeing that their skin looked brighter.
Speaking on the launch of the range, Dr. Anna Persaud, CEO of This Works, says: “My personal journey with red light therapy began over 5 years ago following my second hip replacement.
“During recovery, I looked for ways to support healing, reduce inflammation and improve mobility.
“After discovering red light therapy and using it consistently, I noticed a significant improvement in scar healing, reduced inflammation and greater ease of movement.
“That experience sparked a deeper curiosity, and together with our New Product Development team at This Works, we began exploring the science behind red light therapy and its growing use in beauty and skincare,” adds Persaud.
The Red Light Body Wrap Device and Power Serum are available exclusively from Thisworks.com, RRP £100 and RRP £48 respectively.
